Beach!

I don't think anybody reads my blog, but just in case - here are some news pix of me at the beach! Wheee! I went swimming today in the Baltic Sea, doesn't that sound exotic? It was a little chilly, but I got used to the water after a bit. And now I am full of sand. Well, that's it for now....! xo -JC-

I'm BAAAAACK!

Hola Amigos!!!!!!!!! Have you missed me???? Like I would really stay home and NOT come to Spain... riiiiight. After being shoved in a desk drawer for the past year, I finally got the opportunity to travel again, yay! Unfortunately I was shoved in a suitcase for most of this month, but I finally got the chance to do some siteseeing. I feel like my current owners really don't love me that much, so maybe after this trip I will move back home with the Zoromski's.... idano. Well, here are some shots of me around Salamanca. I am enjoying learning some Spanish and maybe it will help me in future movie roles, not sure? Kung Fu in Spanish? It could work... Enjoy the pictures and maybe I will post again from Europe. :-)
Me in front of the church.
Courtyard at the University.
Historic University Building - with the frog.... Kirstin already blogged about all this, show off...
Chillin' in the Plaza Mayor.
Pastry/Dessert shops- yummmmm.
I had fun shopping at new stores.... great sales!
This is where I mailed my post cards to my fans back home!
The "Casa de las Conchas." (House of Shells, see them on the outside??)
Well, adios for now!
I've missed you all, it's good to be back!
Gnome, I miss you!

Gnome Season!

It's official! The gnomes have left hibernation and moved into the great outdoors for the summer.

This year, however, the gnomes are a bit jumpier than usual. Rumors of a Madame Speed Racer have the gnomes staying far, far away from the road.

Apparently she, like Sammy Hagar, can not drive 55.

(We still heart her anyway!)

Fritz is an Unlucky Name

Hey JC! Glad to see you've got a new traveling companion. The King looks a little scary though - I've seen his commercials.

Are you okay? Why were parts of you falling off all over Europe!? Looks like you had a rough trip.

Remember when I showed you pics of my family? Well, Fritz II is gone. He was found in the backyard, smashed to pieces. Someone really big must have stepped on him or something, we may never know. I guess Franz & I slept through the whole thing! It's quite sad. Our owners picked him up & threw his pieces in the garbage and that was that.

Bummer.

Guess we shouldn't name any more gnomes Fritz!

Hasta, Pasta!

Jackie and Burger King's Great Europe Adventure!

Hello Friends!
JC writing here. Wow, it has been SO long since I've (we've) updated this blog! I really apolgize to my fans, readers, friends, and family. As you will see from the pictures below, it has been a busy summer. After my friend Gnome went back to his family in Appleton, WI, I had to find a new friend to travel with and enjoy crazy adventures! Well, Kirstin "borrowed" a new friend for me! Yay! The person she *ahem* stole this toy from still doesn't even realize he was stolen from them, so I guess they don't deserve him anyway! Hmpf. Get this (!!) - my new friend is also a Buger King kid's meal toy!? Actually, he is THE Burger King himself! So cool. I think we are such good friends due to sharing the same humble beginnings.

So, this summer Burger King spent 4 weeks in Paris (...lucky) with Kirstin. But, I've already been to Paris, so I wasn't too sad. I came over to Europe with Troy and got to go to Italy (1st time!) and Amsterdam (2nd time!) It was a great trip, and we saw lots of cool sites. Here are our pix:

La Defense (Modern Arch) - Paris
Tour Eiffel *cheeze*
Notre Dame
Funky garden display set up at the Hotel de Ville in Paris
Oh, yeah, this is Chicago. BK got to go there too... man...
Heheeeeee... poor Troy, we took this w/o him knowing- LOL
Italia! We climbed the bell tower in Florence.
View of the Duomo (Church) from the top of the bell tower.
King at the top of the Montparnasse Tower, Paris
King, going way back to his ancestral roots at the Palace of Versailles ;)

Haarlem (Holland) - typical canal scene, notice at this point in the trip my plastic parts have fallen off, yipes!
Troy and I sharing friets in Holland - Lekker! (Good!)
Pisa!
View of the Duomo - Sienna, Italy
Another view of the city of Sienna
Well, it was quite a trip. We are glad to be home though - who knows where we'll go next?! Sorry it took us so long to post, we are slow when it comes to technology and such. We love Michelle's blog, it makes me still feel attached to my Appleton fam. Keep checking back for updates, who knows where our next adventures will take us!
Luv ya,
JC & BK
